Northwest Area Biodiesel ProducersThis is a list of some of the biodiesel producers in the Northwest. Most of these companies have websites which you can access by clicking on the name of the company. Blue Sky BiodieselIdaho's first and only commercial-scale biodiesel plant is located in New Plymouth. They use Midwest soybean oil but plan to use locally grown canola when available. Columbia Bio-EnergyColumbia Bio-Energy produces biodiesel from canola and soybean oil in Creston, Washington. Earl Fisher BiofuelsEarl Fisher is the only commercial-scale biodiesel plant in Montana, located in Chester. They have a crusher and produce their biodiesel from locally grown oilseeds, primarily canola at this time but camelina as harvest allows. Gen-X Energy GroupGen-X Energy Group produces biodiesel in Burbank, Washington from multiple, local feedstocks. Green FuelsLocated in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Green Fuels crushes locally-grown canola and processes it into biodiesel. Imperium RenewablesImperium Renewables (formerly Seattle Biodiesel) produces biodiesel at their 100 million gallon plant in Gray's Harbor, Washington. SeQuential-Pacific BiodieselSeQuential-Pacific Biodiesel became the first producer of biodiesel in Oregon in 2004. Their plant, located in Salem, Oregon, makes about 1 million gallons of biodiesel from used cooking oil and from regionally produced crops like canola oil. Standard BiodieselStandard Biodiesel, based in Arlington, Washington, produces biodiesel on a commercial scale from used restaurant cooking oil.
